Regardless of how these teams are fearing, it is always a great game and occasion. There is something about 'the last post' before the game that gets the blood boiling and the emotions running high.

I don;t even like these teams but love this game every year. One of the best games of the year!

the SFS doesn't have the greatest atmosphere to be honest, but they usually get a pretty good crowd in on ANZAC Day. its worth going!

I would advise against going by car...parking is $15-20 iirc.

No problem about the parking. I go to my aunt's place and catch a 5 minute bus to the SFS.

It's getting through the CBD that worries me.

Go around the CBD...where are you coming from? North or West? If coming from western Sydney, you would either turn off parramatta rd at city rd near broadway and go up cleveland st, OR there's some other way that i dont know to well that involves winding through ashfield summer hill lewishham petersham and coming out on gardeners rd kingsford. If your coming from north sydney, i have nfi.

Easiest of all. Go the tunnel and the eastern distributor... takes you underneath the CBD all the way to Moore Park

Remember that night, it was bitterly cold, plenty of fans huddled right up underneath the awnings as the rain fell.
