Good effort for the Panthers. Although they were playing against wooden spoon contenders, they are starting to build some momentum.

Well noone could've predicted the big rain delay in Newcastle, but still pretty shabby.

The better side won on the night of that there can be no doubt. It was against adversity and we deserved the two points.

I actually thought it was a good game. Despite absolutely abysmal refereeing, the Raiders had plenty of chances to win the match but weren't good enough to take them.

Panthers defence was immense, although surely Civoniceva should have been binned late in the game. We just seem to lack that spark in attack that we had last year. It doesn't help when a halfback - who's having a good game - spends time on the bench. Firmer has a lot of work to do to convince me that he's ready for a first grade coaching job, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. A 2-6 start tends to indicate not at this point. I'm willing to give him a chance, but something needs to change soon

are you kidding??

McCrone had an absolute shocker, furner was right to take him off.
3 knock-on's and 4 missed tackles (including being completely embarressed by jennings) he was easily the worst player on the field. So much for all his talk about "showing penrith what they missed out on"
