As I suspected, Cooper has a big red line through his name. What a joke.

I've got nothing against Idris, he's obviously a talent. But he's a year or two away from Origin; & Cooper is perfect for Origin, as he's IMO still the best defencive centre.
That is a fair statement, Idris is a bit away from Origin.

But Cooper, in my opinion, was barely a chance to play this year anyway. Lyon, Jennings, Morris, Tahu, Lawrence...hell even Beau Scott was going to get selected ahead of him this year.

The modern game needs specialist wingers. jennings on the wing is a big mistake in my opinion. Centre or nothing.

Greg Bird - 3 games at five eight for NSW

2 wins, 1 loss. In both those wins he was man of the match. What do you mean they have learned nothing?

Yeah I think that by looking at the two sides picked the selectors are looking at Bird and Kimmorley as the halves. And hopefully if that happens Carney gets the utility spot on the bench over that hack Gidley.

Pretty obvious NSW has the same selectors that have delivered 4-0 to QLD.

Happy about Snowden.

But he's always done very well for NSW at 5/8th. He's the 5/8 for the team coming 2nd on the ladder who has been missing their halfback and best player for over half the season.

Also, what would selectors have to learn from two MOM appearances?

He's the sort of player that is made for Origin - he has aggression, enthusiasm and natural talent. I don't think his passing game or kicking game are Origin quality, and although they're in second Bird's form for the Titans hasn't exactly been fantastic.

Whatever, I just think the side would be far better with him in the forwards.

Burt's selection is long overdue, and he's been in fine form.

Keating and Hodkinson had an amazing combo in Parra's lower grades.

Reddy is lucky, but I guess he's been solid for a few years now.

Tabu is also lucky, but if picked, he won't let NSW down.
