Quick stat: Might be a Titans v Dragons grand final because that would be in keeping with the trend that 'no team has won the gf after conceding 50+ in a game in the same year'

That and the Roosters luck can't go on forever. Flukey comeback v Tigers helped by injury to Benji, then Jennings and Lewis go off injured for Penrith in 1st half, even Cowboys could've beaten us after that. We'll see how the rorters go v a team without stacks of injuries.

34-12.

Enjoy your off season.

 Sounds like you are heading into the bin with Gaba.

It's fans like you who I particularly enjoy listening to after the Roosters have beaten you. The bitter pissing and moaning is priceless.

Roosters have the benefit of this week being overlooked in many respects.

The Saints V Tigers match will occupy alot of column inches and TV time. It may be just what Smith needs, a week without pressure.

The conditions still favour the Titans though with the muggy nights SE Qld has been having of late and the size of the Roosters pack.

Smith will play ducks and drakes though with Newtown out of the comp he could take a massive squad with him.

Prince is still a massive speedbump though

Roosters scored all their regular time tries before Marshall went off.

Yeah... Panthers were specials to win.

Roosters probably would have won that game regardless of injuries. But the fact that the Panthers went into the game without 3 regular starting forwards in Frank Pritchard, Trent Waterhouse and Tim Grant and then lost the Michael Jennings, Luke Lewis and Gavin Cooper for a great deal of the game made it an extremely easy game for the Roosters to win.

That said the Roosters are definitely a far better side then we saw against the Panthers, and they're going to need to play to their potential to beat a much stronger Titans side. It should be a great game.

I don't get the Roosters love in.

Two losses to Cronulla
One poor loss and one unconvincing win over Cowboys
60 points conceded to the Dogs

It shows they only put in when they feel like it. Not much better than Parramatta. Roosters are a not a 'club', they are merely a franchise that represents everything that is wrong with modern sport. No juniors, no soul, lol Roosters! If they win the comp I'll have to think twice about whether its worth following a sport where such a club can win comps. When's the next salary cap audit!?

GO THE TITANS! We'll win this by 13 points! Man of the Match: Greg 'Boom Boom' Bird. Smash them tri-colours without souls.

Titans calling the Roosters a franchise? The irony. I have heard it all now.

Your considering following another sport is exactly why your team has already folded twice before and will again someday. Titans supporters are piss weak and your team is the franchise. There will be a time when you know longer like the taste of McDonalds and switch to KFC.

A few facts for you:

- Yes we conceded 60, lost to Cronulla twice, lost to Newcastle and lost to cowboys. All those performances except for the 2nd Cronulla loss were in the first half of the season, it’s called improvement.
- Lol at the “franchise” rant, do you really want to compare the amount of Roosters players that debuted in first grade for the roosters v the amount of players playing for titans that also made their debut there?
- No soul? I know you can’t be referring to the only club to of participated in all 102 years of 1st grade rugby league. The same club that were wooden spooners last year but have managed to turn it around and make a prelim final. The same club that whilst they bought a couple of players for this year (namely Carney), they didn’t buy there way out of trouble and have introduced 9 1st grade debutants for the year. The same club that has come back from big margins at least 3 times this year to win, including a 100 minute final against the Tigers….

You stupid goose.

I wouldn't take anything Covellius Maximus writes seriously.

Lol @ this butt hurt westie. What luck against the Tigers? Those three desperate try saving efforts were luck? Go back to the bus shelter.

Easts 102-year participation is entirely through no fault of their own. They begged St. George to jump into bed with them, but got rejected...

Talk about re-writing history. St George would have been the Illawarra Steelers in that relationship there would have been nothing left of the Dragons. Save our Saints  but they didn't mind doing it to somebody else, the irony.

 bitter much?
Bitter about what? I'm not one of those lunatics who clings on to a result in a football game like its the only thing I've got in life. I made a comment on the result of the game based on my observations of the two teams involved. In my belief the roosters did not play as well as the scoreline against the panthers suggested. The Titans in their home state will be a lot more of a challenge and I believe will win. If you don't like that opinion so be it.

This is one of the funniest posts I've seen outside of Gaba.

Maybe you should put your stack hat back on sport.

Or at least leave the League talk to us and you can head back to the FFB and fantisise about men with long hair

On my PC with the old Rugby League game by HES, you could create players- some of them I created hot women- change the players names and give them long hair, give them a high weight for their upper chest region. They still look pretty manly though but I'm allowed to fantasise.

He's actually a sharks supporter, but jumped ship when he realised how pathetic they were.

True die hard supporter you might say

Looking forward to playing spot the Roosters fan on Friday night. Wish I wasn't working so I could go to it.

Sounds like the same game will be able to be played with St Choke supporters on the weekend too.

A game within a game it seems.

Lol. Yeah don't take anything I say seriously, yet the rate of posts in this thread doubles when I post. Mission accomplished and I'm rolling around with lolz.

Roosters fans are so precious.

the result of the game was never in doubt.. i'd say 34-12 was an accurate reflection.. and even then we didnt play anywhere near our potential
