Titans defence will be too strong

Interesting you should mention that Gaba...

Over the past 8 games for each of the final 4 teams, the roosters are 2nd in terms of defence, conceding only 4 more points than the dragons over the same period (117 to 121). Titans are 3rd after conceding 138 while the tigers are well back in 4th on 170.

In terms of attack, the tigers are 4 points ahead of the titans (202 to 198) while the roosters are well back on 187. The dragons bringing up the rear on 175.

For those who can't be bothered to do the math, this puts the roosters 1st on +/- pver this period (+66), followed by the titans (+60), Saints (+58) then Tigers (+32).

Could it be that the roosters have metamorphosised into one of your patented "good defensive teams"???

I already know that they're not really that good. 42-18 loss to the Sharks, lol. Atleast the Titans only lost by 14. haha. The most ill disciplined side in the comp, with an alcoholic psycho at 5/8.

:lol: Is that what you judge it by?

Titans lost to Tigers by 1 and then beat them by 3, roosters beat tigers 3 times with the lowest margin 4 so we MUST be better than the Titans.

Dopey genius.

I posed similar stats and that same question to our friend Gaba, strangely enough he didn't reply....

cocksmoker. The Roosters need to be put in their place. The Roosters are lucky to get this far. With a menace to society at 5/8 and a 'my father was Wayne Pearce so I get picked for NSW' at halfback. The Roosters could win the comp and I'd still never give them any credit. They shouldn't even be in the NRL :p or atleast they should have merged with Soufffs.

I can't wait til the Titans smash you and your rah rah loving area based team on Friday.

 Covellius. Useless merkin, can't even stick out a couple of lean years so jumps ship to another club. Your opinion is worthless, much like your support apparently.

No. There's nothing more worthless than a Roosters supporter. What were your crowds last year when the team tasted wood? hahaha. I bet the 'pretty boys' enjoyed it.

Win a few games and still the crowds aren't exactly packed to the rafters. What a club  No juniors have to steal other club's best kids to build a so called 'junior base'. Also you get special love from the media, especially fox sports because Mitchell 'my daddy captained NSW' Pearce is in your team.

We'll flog ya!

Raining in brissy all week. It should better suit the Titans but as long as the Roosters don't watch the '03 or '04 grand finals they will still believe they can win.

How is that model citizen Greg bird going?

By the way, I note that the Titans lost twice to the broncos whilst we beat them twice… under your logic we MUST be better.

Titans should have too much with Campbell back. I'll be cheering on the Titans to make it with their ex panther connections

And i cry myself to sleep every night because of this.

I mean, it would be great to win the Premiership; but without Covellius Maximus' recogition it really wouldn't feel the same.

So will you please reconsider? Because i don't want my GF celebrations tempered by the knowledge that a Sharks-turned-Titans bandwagoner wouldn't appreciate it...

It would feel so...

I like the Titans here. They're the form side of the competition (furthermore since Canberra were eliminated), having only lost to the Sharks in about the last 10 weeks. That loss may not have been the worst thing, as teams have struggled to win any more than 5 or 6 on the trot all year.

They've ground out some really great away wins in that time (Dragons, Warriors, Roosters) and I like their steely resolve. Most of their players are either at their peak or in their twilights, so there's no better chance for them to make a Grand Final.

The Roosters have been pretty good over the last few weeks, and are a side that can beat the Titans if they put it together. Hell, they turned their season around with a resounding win at Skilled Park midway through this season. I just question the selection of BJ Leilua on the wing - even though Phil Graham has lost the Roosters games this season. If Gordon and Zillman get into space...

Titans by 7.

That's a shame but those cars stopped at the lights wont squeegee their windscreens by themselves.

Roosters by 13.

I'll pay that one.

Depressingly my paid (in a manner of speaking) job is but a step or two above windscreen washing... (my fulltime, unpaid job is looking after our kids while my wife earns the real money).
