Well considering every man and his dog in the media is tipping the Roosters, we don't have to do too much playing up.

Dragons by 40. Carney to get the Clive Churchill Medal (too expensive to have to engrave another one).

I can't wait...so nervous...so psyched. I'm pretty much ready to tip this as the greatest GF of all time even though i haven't seen it yet. I'm not gonna put a tip in. I'm confident the Roosters can win. But I also know the Dragons are a quality side. Anyone who thinks they can pick a winner with any confidence is a liar. This will not be decided til the very end....

They have been of late. Boyd and Morris have been well out of form. Gasnier hasn't shown much at all since coming back either.

The Dragons looked flat against the Tigers last week. If that happens again this week they're in trouble. The Roosters are in great form.

This biggest key is Weyman. I don't think they'll be able to get away with him only playing 35 minutes. He's easily the Dragons best prop and they'll need him out there more than that.

Saints were rusty after the week off, the second half was a different story. The Tigers never really looked like scoring once we had blown the cob webs out.

True about Weyman being our key, but Saffy back this week makes a massive difference for us. He provides us with a lot from the bench when Weyman or Costigan go off.
Saffy / Merrin has far greater impact for us than Green / Merrin.

Reverse psychology hapenning now in this thread...the Dragons fans are playing up the underdog status.

No need for reverse psychology. Bennett has been doing it all week.

He's giving the media nothing, so they're jumping on the Roosters bandwagon to spite him and our team. The funny thing is though, it's playing right into his hands. All the talk is about the Roosters this week, on a coach who is yet to win a premiership and a relatively young side, it'll play on their minds guaranteed.

Bennett is being Bennett...says nothing 24/7.

I don't think it will bother the chooks to have all this media TBH...

i'd say that was always going to be the case though. The media attention inevitably has its focus on the "feel good story" of the year or whatever you want to call it.

Both sides are confident of winning i can guarantee you that.. can't wait.

The weather has turned on it's head so that certainly adds a whole new dimension

Bennett talks when he wants to, but we haven't released any of our players for interviews like the Roosters have. You might be right about the chooks, but we've shaken the favourite tags with little effort this week, it certainly makes it easier on the dragons.
