Amazing seeing Canberra fans labelling fans of any other team sore losers. Completely blind to the log in their own eye on that one.

Sour grapes don't taste too good do they?

Dragons missing: Weyman, Morris, Smith, Fien, Scott, Hunt, Cooper, Boyd, Costigan
Raiders missing: Learoyd Lahrs, Shillington, Miller, Carney, Milne, Tongue, Fensom, Herbert

Those numbers look pretty even to me....

Enjoy your regular season choke bmwpower.

I guess it's an opportunity for Trent Merrin to step up, but geez we're going to miss Hunt.

He will need to, he isn't being paid to look pretty.
Young son on the wing didn't go too bad, Kalifa Fai Fai Loa, be interesting to see how he develops and whether that stepping will work against any other teams.
Judging by the size of the man, if he can keep developing, he could be something good, then he'll be forced out because of the cap and go to another club, probably Newcastle, where he will get busted for drug dealing.
Can he be bulked up to be a quick forward with a step?

Brett Morris
Darius Boyd
Kevin Costigan
Matt Cooper
Ben Creigh
Mick Weyman

you're a deadset f**kwitt of the highest order...:lol::lol:

thats what i dont get. they brag on about a win and dont take into consideration dragons had 4 on debut in ONE game. i think that would be an nrl record. 10 quality players were out. not average or fringe players. we will see where raiders will finish after 26 rounds

Raiders fans enjoy the win, Saints fans it sucks to lose. We, the dragons, will have more good weeks than bad. Don't begrudge the Raiders their win as they don't get that many. It's a shame for them that they don't play us every week.

Stagger, I'd hardly call it chest beating....but listening to some of them cry and make excuses because they were missing players?

Haven't read the thread.

Well done Canberra, you can only play the team that is put before you. We were low on personnel, by my count were we without nine first graders. I'm very happy with how the young lads played tonight.

I think we are playing you again this year in the cold capital, and you probably won't make the semis. So good luck and we'll have at least one more more shot at you later this year.

The way I carried on??? LMFAO you are a joke..deadset....wah wah wah we were missing players for origin.

All I did was say that we were missing players aswell, but hey, your a dragons supporter, so that doesn't matter...and regardless of what we do, you'll still choke come finals time, good luck with that.

True, Chujo ... our inability to beat teams further south than Wollongong has been a concern for a long time, and remains one ... 1 win in 10 years against Canberra, and about 2 wins in 10 years against Melbourne.

Melbourne is more understandable given they have basically been the best side in the comp for the past 10 years, but Canberra normally finish 13th or worse.

Bogey sides, I guess ... Brisbane have only beaten us 2 times in about 8 years despite finishing top 4 almost every season, and the Warriors and Souths have only beaten us once or twice in 10 years too.

Weird how the NRL consistently produces that sort of thing ... other clubs we used to really struggle to beat were Roosters, Bulldogs and Sharks ... but once we beat them, we apparently can't lose to them these days.
