We will be expected to win but I don't know whether we will. Were awful. Their awful. I can see this being like the game vs Warriors at Newcastle in 08. I think it was something like 18-16 they won in a rubbish contest when we were expected to pile to points on. The Cowboys will probably do the same, yes even without Thurston and Payne.

the alarm bells are ringing in newcastle at the moment. we're desperate as hell for a win and the cowboys are massively understrength.

sounds like a game we'll probably lose the way we're going. the buck ends with our front row i think... they need to stop passing in and through the line... if they are going to pass it needs to be before the line, otherwise they just need to run onto the damn ball and make some metres.

our defence needs to improve across the park, too. hopefully the boys will chalk up a win and get a bit of confidence back with captain kurt on board.
