I think people are underestimating the extra 20 mins the Roosters had to play and the toll that may take physically.

Not to mention the fact that i think the roosters may struggle to get up for this one after a huge high on saturday night.

Im saying Panthers by 10 despite the players out.

It does worry me a bit although I would be more concerned of the Tigers ability of getting up next week after losing.

I think Smithy will have the lads ready

Urgh. Injuries hurting us, Purtell likely to still be playing even if Coote is fit. I don't know. I'm not super confident but I'll be there cheering. What are tickets worth at the SFS?

I wonder how many Panthers fans will turn up? Me and my girlfriend means two at least...

Yesterday in TC, Warriors (2nd) wore the white against the maroon of Manly (7).

I guess it actually isn't that bad afterall.

And as mentioned it's worth remembering the Panthers usually wear white shorts with that number if I'm not mistaken (although so do the Roosters :-k).

As for Warriors/Manly, I imagine the Warriors had the choice of jersey and with the afternoon heat chose to wear white, something they've been quite vocal about over the years when opposition sides do it during day games (Brisbane/GC this year, Cowboys back in the 07 finals). On Friday night the Titans (8th) were forced to wear their away strip at Skilled vs Souths (1st) in Toyota Cup.

Well no Pritchard to go with Waterhouse's injury. I think you can't go past the Rooster's now. Lewis and Petero would need to have the best game in the history of NRL to be a chance

Their loss is no doubt huge , but to say our only chance is for Petero and Luke lewis to have their best games ever is massively overstating it.

Im concerned about the waterhouse loss , but the pritchard loss only really hurts in terms of depth IMO. You just cant be relying on him to win you games.

We will still have some pretty handy players out there on Saturday night. If the roosters play like they have in recent weeks I think we can do it easily.

Panthers would probably just wear the black shorts with those surely.

Pritchard will be a big miss for the Panthers, they can do without the likes of Waterhouse but strike forwards in Pritchard can cause us problems.

We don't seem to have any major injury concerns with JWH concussion and Conn with a groin problem but should be cleared to play for Saturday.

Lewis is the danger man. Utterly carved us up last time we played. But Roosters are a far better team since then and Penrith arguably have gone slightly downhill.

Waterhouse is a huge loss for us.Pritchard is a minor loss based on what he has done as far as impact this year.I love it when everybody writes us off especially when its the roosters

I was just implying that a guy like Waterhouse wouldn't be as much of a threat to us as opposed to a guy like Pritchard. I don't think I said i was writing off the Panthers either.

pritchard has had 1 dominating game the entire year .Waterhouse does a lot of the defensive clean up work.Your back line is where you have the advantage with a load of speed right across the back line

Penrith are no chance unless Supercoach changes his game plan from 5 dummy half runs then go the bomb. Panthers have a great backline too but don't use it, its disappointing for them and their fans.

Should be a cracker of a game. I just hope Grant & Lewis aren't going to play busted, then we should get up in a close one.

If Purtell's out then that could be worth 2 tries less conceded by us. Not that I'm aware of his stats, just tossing it up based on people's opinion about him on the forum.
