Doubt I'll bother go to any games this season if this form continues. I've switched channels and will now only watch the A-League GF. Get out of my club Elliott :x

Shocking performance, Burns and Gordon are the only ones who can hold their heads up after that.

You're a bandwagon fan at best anyway, i doubt anyone will miss you. Also you didn't even go today so its not like todays result was the thing holding you back.

Today I had to work and couldn't make it anyway. Not that I have to explain myself to you. My point is with Elliott coaching and this kind of performance why should the crowds turn up? It's not like I don't care about the club, I've followed for over 20 years but I have to work some weekends. This kind of performance doesn't make me want to change my schedule to go and watch Penrith play like busteds.

Quite simply the most inept, souless, skillless and structurless performance I've ever seen from a so called first grade side.

You might be able to fix one of those things in a week but the other two, well lets just say it's going to be a very long season.

On the plus side it perhaps represents the beginning of the end for Matt Elliott.

For all those so offended that a lot of people were picking the Panthers outside the 8, today was a great example of why.

Elliot and Lang will be racing to be the first coach sacked.

This is pretty much exactly what everyone expected from Penrith.

I can't see a way out of it for them either. They were also beaten 62-16 in NYC, and 40-14 in NSW Cup, so it's not like they appear to have any quality depth to cut and change the side.

They were only missing Nathan Smith, and Newcastle lost Gidley and Costigan early on so Penrith were also playing a 15 man side who'd lost 2 of their best players. Yet they still get flogged. Not good signs at all...

It's their halves that are causing the problems. I said it earlier, but until Walsh can find a new partner in crime then it's Struggle Street. They lack direction and organisation, and there seems to be little leadership at times.

The whole team looked like they didn't care. Even Coote was very pedestrian.

The Panthers biggest problem is the coach. Elliot had 1 good season at the raiders as well but couldn't build on it. He loves his nuffies too much and has no idea how to coach a team how to attack. Panthers will be in the bottom 8 this year.
