If the Raiders get hit by food poisoning and a bus and the plague, then the Roosters might just kick a late field goal to break the 10 all deadlock.

Otherwise, Raiders 22 v Roosters 4

Brian Smith will be too busy trying to poach Shaun Fensom and Josh Dugan to come up with a gameplan.

OK, so I made that bit up.

Match of the round, looking forward to a huge crowd with even a few Canberra fans making the trip and a cracking game of rugby league.

those who bet through betfair

the hcp / points double market

raiders -1.5 / under 37.5 @ 3.10 looks a good bet, roosters struggle to score and canberra have been scoring plenty of tries but surely they won't belt them by more than 20

We always, always lose at the SFS. We haven't got our two best players and we are in the middle of our worst season in history.

Yet the bookies have us as favourites? Are they fair dinkum?

To be honest, I love the Raiders and I live around the corner from the SFS and even I don't think I can be bothered wasting $30 or $40 (or whatever it costs) to watch them run around. I'd rather watch it on TV, much better view.

A cripple fight for the ages this shall be!

We're awful. I can only conclude that we were the Milli Vanilli of Rugby League last year and that our team was in fact, say, the Maroons in disguise.

I've never backed against my team but this week the $1.91 the Raiders were offering was just too good to refuse. I will of course be cheering my boys on, but if they lose i can at least console myself with $500.

Raiders by 12.

so if the roosters win, you lose $500... lol you'll be cheering for the raiders, a roosters win isn't worth that much this year

Crowd looks somewhere around the 5500 mark, although the western side of the ground is about twice as full as the eastern stand which will look abysmal on tv I'm sure
