THE PANTHERS have received a huge boost for their clash against the Dragons tonight with their three biggest stars set to make shock returns from injury.
Thought to have played their final games for the club, departing stars Petero Civoniceva and Trent Waterhouse will line-up for the Panthers' last match of the year while Michael Jennings will also take his place in the team.
The star trio were not name due to injury but will carry niggles into the match with the side desperate to finish their season with a win.
"They were desperate to play one last time,'' said a Panthers insider.
"And we want to send them out winners. It would mean a lot to get a win for 'House' and 'Big Pet'."

Almost every player is carrying some niggles. Presumably these three are carrying more than most. But it looks like a good effort from them to step up as well as a good gesture to their supporters. Hopefully it'll get some extra people to the game.

Panthers will definitely lift having these 3 star players included in to the lineup, hopefully the Dragons are expecting a tough encounter because that's exactly what they'll be getting. Panthers looking to end the season with a win and an appropriate send off for their departing players.

Dragons will be looking to bag a win to not only be a hope for 4th spot but to also notch a win for Bennett, Boyd, Green and Gaz's last games in Dragons colours at the Gong.

Dragons by 16, lead by 6 at halftime and score a couple of tries late in the 2nd half.
