First time we've ever been held to nil at Bruce Stadium.

Humiliating.

I love the laughs... we arent the first and we wont be the last side in this year's comp to be made to look like a park football team by the melbourne storm

too good today.
If saints cant win next week they might as well surrender all following games to us.

You aren't far above a park football team mate.

Terribly coached. The morale is quite obviously lower than the Chisolm Tavern.

But Josh Dugan is the best player in the universe? :sarcasm:

So are elbows to the head legal now or what? Pathetic performance from the refs, Melbourne penalised for perfectly legal tackles and Canberra get away with cocked elbows to the jaw.

At least the grubby merkins got held to nil.

Raiders fans must be pissed!
The defense was ok at times but the attack was woeful!! Nothing creative!

Great game from us but looked like we were in cruise control all game. Jesse Bromwiche is a star.

That's giving the Chisholm Tavern a bad rap that it doesn't deserve.

The weird thing is when Melbourne scored, I honestly didn't feel anything. Maybe a little frustration, but the worst thing is that while the Raiders were trying their hardest - and they were trying - Melbourne didn't have to break a sweat. We have the talent, they're putting in the effort so what the f**k is happening? I've defended Furner until now, because God knows we've had plenty of bad luck, but you've got to come up with a better gameplan than that. We've been help to 0 twice this year, and both times we had the exact same gameplan.

Furner has done some brilliant work with bringing our juniors through, but whether he's up to coaching first grade, well I'm just not sure anymore. Im even starting to question how much of last year's good run was Furner and how much was Campese. Regardless, it looks like we're stuck with him. The board see him as a mate rather than an employee and while that's not Dave's fault, its pretty depressing for fans.

This is the worst year I can remember as a Raiders fan. We've equalled our worst ever losing streak, suffered our first ever golden point loss, lost to the Knights and Titans at home - teams who never win in Canberra, lost Campese to a season-ending injury after he had played about 7 minutes of his return game, and to put the icing on the cake we'll probably lose to the Dragons. We've had a board member come out publically and say Furner would have to lose 30 games straight to be sacked... and we're playing like a park football team who have a real big chance of taking out the spoon.

Someone wake me up when this season ends.

Raiders and tits going toe to toe for the prestigious double of wooden spoon AND most points conceded. After 17 games:
Raiders 14 points
Tits 12

Raiders 407 points conceded
Tits 406 points

Wha...? Wha...? Are you a f**king idiot? Did you watch the f**king game? All day Melbourne, the cheating scum of the earth, were lying all over Raiders players. We do it once, and bang... get penalised. Not to mention the consistent off sides the wanker referees failed to penalise.

Matt Cecchin is the most incompetent referee I have ever seen.
