For the most part the defence has been fairly bruising, particularly from the Cowboys I've thought, though we've no doubt had our share of shocking defensive lapses.

You can't expect quality defence in this comp.

Grevsmuhl scores short-range barge-over one off the ruck try number 786435 this season. Why teams haven't picked up on it I don't know.

This is under 20s, these kids have developing bodies...you can't expect bone crushing tackles...it's not supposed to be a carbon copy of the NRL.
It's really not a difficult thing to comprehend, if you dislike it, turn it off.
