New coach taking over will that lift us? Cowboys are playing alot better than us but are still far more beatable in Sydney than up in Townsville.

As a consequence of last season, I have deliberately avoided watching any Penrith games this year. Quite frankly, they were the most negative and horrible football side I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

So I'm not really worth taking not of in regard to this game, as I'm blissfully unaware as to how they're traveling this season.

What I do know is that North Queensland have been very patchy in this middle portion of the season, and really need to pull their socks up. I have supreme confidence they will take out this clash, as they have an attacking prowess that can blow away some of the weaker teams in this competition. If nothing else, I can read from the ladder that Penrith are not one of the more formidable sides.

They do however have Luke Lewis, a player I've utmost respect for. Every movement he makes on Sunday should be watched like a hawk by our players.

Should North Queensland display anywhere near their best footy for the majority of this game, they will get the win, and there's no reason to think they can't. NQ by 20.

Hopefully we will get the points, Tariq is a loss however with the Penrith defence we should be ok to cover him.

Actually,Penrith's been defending well in recent weeks, with just 66 points conceded in the last 5 games. Attack alot more of an issue.

Cowboys have the best attack in the game and better defense then penrith, it's 4 th v 10 th. On paper it should be a mismatch.

Tariq is no loss Shorty. You have the superstar that is Dallas Johnson waiting in the wings to step up in attack.
