Butthurt, is that word the favourite of dogs supporters? Talk about flogging it to death.

Manly fans continue to display both on here and on Twitter, either by deflecting attention to years-old fanbase issues, the ethnicity of our supporter base, or just plain out and out whinging about how we stole Des "illegally"...

Just seems the most appropriate word.

Just about every fanbase complains about the behavior of Bulldog supporters at some stage.

The fanbase stuff comes from not only Manly fans, so I have no idea how that relates to being "butthurt" as you all like to keep saying. We along with other fans have been saying that stuff for years. The Des stuff I agree with. They need to get over it. The incessant whinging everytime the Dogs and Des is mentioned drives me crazy.

Everyone complains about Dogs supporters. Because it is funny. Much like most people find it funny to point out the majority of our fans are scared to cross Middle Harbour...

Stuck in the office until 9p.m. Sydney time. ANGAR!!!

And they're all talking about things that happened now 6 years ago.

The only incident I recall making the media since was in (I think) 09 which turned out to be a fabricated beat-up by Souths fans about a pregnant girl.

I never said Manly fans were the only ones either, good deflection from the usual line though.

Because your fans want to take their frustrations out on the club, they feed the stereotypes the club is known for. Therefore it's related to the butthurt.

Common ground. I like it.

I'm talking about general behavior not major incidents, undeniably Bulldogs have far more young hoodlum supporters then any other club, just what I have gauged from over the years.

As am I, and as some who attends home games of multiple clubs, I don't agree.

you lose penalty counts because Dessie has you tap dancing on the limit of the rules in every facet of the game in both defence and attack.

You get pinged in defence because of it, but it is more than made up for by getting away with bloody murder with the ball in hand in almost every set.

Ffs.... get over the obstruction issue already.
If it's a penalty, then it's a penalty. If the refs are shit, then blame the refs inability to do their job. Last time I checked "Tap dancing on the limit of the rules" is still not cheating, no matter how close it seems.

We have an awesome pack with the best ball playing forwards in the comp, and a team that consistently attacks and defends like a team, that also won 12 in a row this season and the minor premiership. Credit where it's due. If you think we got there by "murder with the ball in hand" then you're a moron.

All clubs have their undesirables. To be honest the worst behaviour I have seen has come from Manly fans, that is due to the fact they are the team I watch the most live. However the doggies fans when they muck up they do it good and proper and outdo any other clubs fanbase.

F**k off you annoying merkins ! Seriously who cares ? Why the hell aren't we focussing on the fact that this game is going to be one for the ages?
------

Anyway, in regards to the game I think it's going to be the game of the season. I expect it to be bruising between the forwards and flashy between the backs.

Barba Vs. Stewart
Pritchard Vs. Stewart
Reynolds Vs. Foran
Morris Vs. Lyon.

And many more match ups.

Seriously, this is going to be one f**king awesome match.

Dogs by 2.

The dogs are atrocious in the ruck. You could go out and come back with a nice warm glass of tea during the time some of the tackles are completed with the amount of wrestling and holding down that goes on.

Got no problems with us being poorly disciplined. Just wish the rules were applied consistently to both sides by both officials.

This should be awesome, could go either way, very evenly balanced sides, manly by 8.

Surely after 2 games this year we can do without another Des and Manly soap opera.

Yes this is also known as the roosters defence or "sure we are an ill disciplined wrestling squad but possibly so are the other team ???"

Not all sides are horrendous in the rucks. Not that I blame the bulldogs winning the rucks goes a long way to winning matches and the success this year has shown that Hasler having the side flying close to the sun is a winning strategy but the thing with flying close to the sun is maybe the wings might melt off and the refs might really punish you in a game. Maybe even the grand final.
