I notice a trend with souffs fans, when there's a hint that they might win something it turns into ultimate confidence with no chance of anything going wrong.

It's his first year ffs, he's never played anything more then home and away.
Plenty can go wrong, it won't be Adam choking though

agree if i was running on to the field , however i did not make the side ,so i do not have to worry about my mental preperation.

as a fan , storms form was worse than average when Slater was out injured. so i thought the use of average without Slater was talking them up.

As for Souths big pack, i do not think they are that big and big in itself is not answer. Storm have J Lowe who is fairly big. Souths have a couple of forwards who are faster and just as big as your biggest , in Sam and Taylor. I think they are the key difference between the two teams.

Sorry mate...thought your were Crocker in disguise...will remember next time not to assume that you actually play for the Rabbitohs.

Not even live on the main channel in Melbourne. Scumbags.

But we got a billion dollars so it's ok......Nine are most definitely scumbags but they're only doing what the NRL have always allowed them to do which is more or less run the game.

I fear the forward battle will be no battle at all with Souths walking all over our guys buttttttt.............if Reynolds and Sutton choke then it won't matter one bit.

Chambers is a massive loss, he's been a tower in defense and brilliant at righ centre offensively.

Ryles is needed more than ever in this game and I hope Fa'aoso is on the bench somewhere.

Anyway, at least there's no haka pre-game so that's a plus.

GO STORM!!!!!

I'm predicting Sam Burgess man of the match. Souths 24-22. Goal Kicking the difference!

Pretty hard to choke when you kick the ball everytime you get it

Just read NRL.com preview - here's a fun fact: of 19 games between the two teams Melbourne have won 16, including every home game. So either that's a good sign for the Storm or Souths are due for a win - I can't decide... :S
Any record that covers the majority of our last 20 years will give misleading stats on us.

What relevance do all the losses we would have had against them between 98 and 06 have to this game in 2012?

It's a vastly different team.

You mean like both of last years Grand Final halfbacks?

You would kill to have Reynolds partnering Marshall in the haves and you know it

No, I don't think Reynolds would suit benji. Benji works when he has a running (prince) or ball playing (Lui) half next to him. Reynolds, like soward, suits when you have an extremely dominant player (inglis, boyd in 2010) in your side.

If he doesnt then he gets shown for the one dimensional (see soward 2012) player that he is
