Pretty happy with that hitout, it probably goes a long way to dispelling the myth that we have no depth this year. Quite a few blokes put some pretty strong cases forward for inclusion in the top 17.

This is the most confident I've been in ages. We have a good coach for a change, the Dragons lost their supercoach and his shadow aka Darius. I'm very very very confident we're going to pump them.

Very good defense. The better team for large stretches of the game. Adam Reynolds will be the real deal. Sam Burgess will reaffirm the fact that he is the best forward in the game. Souths a lock for the top 4.

The improvements to the team that Maguire has provided have already been evident. Would a better result have been nice? Sure. But trials aren't for that. Plenty of examples of teams losing trials only to go onto a successful season.
