Pathetic last 10 minutes. Another loss at home for a very average team. Sharks are developing a winning culture this year. They look like going somewhere.

Well, we hung in tough when we were hopelessly outplayed in the second half. Happy that we have that toughness.

Needed more attack when we had the chances. Penrith probably the best team, 3 tries to two, bad luck Panthers fans. Panthers looked to have plenty of dangerous options.

In some ways it is your best win, being able to win despite playing not very well in the second half is a good sign.

Losing to Bulldogs, Souths and Sharks at home. Only beating Roosters and Eels. We're in for another difficult season, then again that's not surprising. We need a couple of good signings and youngsters to gain experience to be a force in the coming years. Glad there are teams like Parra, Roosters and Titans in the comp so we can get a few wins. Hopefully we improve on 2011 but hard to see us making the top 8 with this squad and inability to win at home.

Gallen was involved in virtually every one of our good plays. Another monstrous game from him, maybe a big Dally M chance this year if this form continues. Lewis, Burns, Jennings all looked dangerous, great game from Lewis. Carney is getting there- want a bit more from him, but we look like we can become a good attacking team. We're certainly a good dog fighting team. And I love Bakuya as an up and coming star- looking very good.

Good game of footy, Panthers came back well in the second half and really should have won it with the momentum but the new Sharks have got that winning feel.

John Williams should get a week in reggies after nearly costing his team the game though. If the guy chasing through was fine and nailed it, it would be the Panthers getting the cash.
