Its not just his positioning Queensland are gobbling him up when he needs to be doing what fergo did last game. Roll up the sleeves and cart the ball up.

I hope he becomes better as Queensland tire but he's been ineffective so far.

I actually think he has done well carting the ball up. He is the only one who hasn't been monstered by the defence so far. Morris and Dugan have been pushed back five meters on multiple occasions, Merritt is singling out defenders and getting to the ground quick

Woods did shit all as well

Yeah he had loads of opportunities. Made 14 tackles and missed none and took a hit up in each set NSW had the ball when he was on the field off his own line. What do you expect him to put in a chip and chase and score length of the field?

That was Jennings and Pearce pretty sure

Pearce was on the other side of the field? :sarcasm:

Honestly, a terrible performance by the whole team. Stupid to scapegoat any one person at the moment. Defence, attack, kicking are all terrible.

Its not just his positioning Queensland are gobbling him up when he needs to be doing what fergo did last game. Roll up the sleeves and cart the ball up

What back has made good metres out of their own end? Both Morris brothers and Dugan have been forced backwards several times.

Coming off his wing when Morris had Inglis marked twice. Anyone with a brain says Merritt is having a shocker.

Yeah, it's not like Inglis ever beats his man one or one and it's never a good idea for the winger to jam in on him.

There was a pre-existing agenda and if you have one of those it's easy to twist every scenario in your favour, then pick out 2 or 3 alleged eras, mix in a little bit of typical Origin hyperbole, and call it a shocker.

Merrit has only cost NSW one try, but not through lack of trying. Could have been 3.

Break out the Kleenex, it's not the shitty squads fault, it's the referees. It's the same every year.

Hang on, I've got the Wambulance on the phone.
