Certainly no arrogance, more optimistic with Farrah out. Having followed the Panther's for many years, we get nervous playing the bye.

Anyways it appears moylan and Robinson are going to be ruled out by the ridiculous second teir salary cap replaced by naquaima and Daniela, Tim grant is also out

This is the biggest load of shit ever. Panthers have a team worth less then half the salary cap, and aren't allowed to play a couple of them because previously injured players are now available.

Signing Wes Naiqama was a terrible decision in the first place, and now it has come back to bite us in the arse even worse. Because of him we can't select Matt Moylan. The rule itself is stupid, but so was signing a shit player and ever selecting him in first grade to begin with.

The Tigers are well and truly in this game now... between the injuries to Panthers, and players in good form being forced out of the team because of stupid rules and being replaced with shit players... this game is practically being handed to them.

I'm so f*cking angry right now. The NRL have effectively told us we have to use two shit players because they are healthy for the rest of the season or until they are injured. How can they force us to use these players, and not select blokes who have already played for us and earned their spots?

I hope they do take them to court for restraint of trade. Matt Moylan is a first grader, and shouldn't be sent back to Windsor for Wes Naiqama to come into first grade. I was spewing when we signed him, and now it's even worse that our coach sees how shit he is and leaves him to rot at Windsor, and the NRL steps in and forces us to pick him. I'd rather us keep selecting Moylan and Robinson, and cop the fine or points penalty then watching that reject run around for us.

The salary cap is seriously flawed when a team worth less then half of the salary cap is being forced not to select players while having a huge injury toll.

How does that shit even happen? Is there seriously a rule that prevents up and coming talent from playing first grade? What a complete and total f**k up by the NRL.

Just play the players, week in week out. If the NRL take points away use that as motivation to win the whole damn thing next season like Storm did or came close to doing anyway.

No arrogance I know Penrith aren't a top 8 side. Just hate the way the media wanks over a mediocre Tigers team and nothing is ever their fault

Honestly, I haven't noticed any media adulation for the Tigers and nor do they deserve it. Most fans agree that the squad is bog average even with all players available. The run of injuries that the Tigers, and Panthers, have endured would test the depth of any team let alone one as mediocre as the Tigers. But it's not all doom and gloom, there are a heap of talented juniors coming through, the tyrant Tim Sheens has been deposed and Adam Blair is rumoured to be on the outer. It all augurs well for the future.

What the team SHOULD be with Matt Moylan not being allowed to play:

16. James ROBERTS - FB
18. Josh MANSOUR - LW
2. Travis ROBINSON - LC
4. Dean WHARE - RC
5. David SIMMONS - RW
6. Isaac JOHN - FE
7. Luke WALSH - HB
8. Nigel PLUM - FR
9. Kevin KINGSTON (c) - HK
11. Sika MANU - FR
3. Lewis BROWN - SR
12. Matt ROBINSON - SR
13. Adam DOCKER - LK

14. James SEGEYARO
15. Mose MASOE
17. Clint NEWTON
19. Bryce CARTWRIGHT

What the team will be:
18. Wes NAIQAMA - FB :(
2. Travis ROBINSON - LW
3. Lewis BROWN - LC
4. Dean WHARE - RC
5. David SIMMONS - RW
6. Isaac JOHN - FE
7. Luke WALSH - HB
8. Nigel PLUM - FR
9. Kevin KINGSTON (c) - HK
19. Cameron CIRALDO - FR :(
11. Sika MANU - SR
12. Matt ROBINSON - SR
13. Adam DOCKER - LK

14. James SEGEYARO
15. Mose MASOE
16. James ROBERTS
17. Clint NEWTON

I can picture the game being played in our end of the field with Wes Naiqama doing SFA at fullback and either dropping bombs or doing nothing with kick returns. Aswell as losing a ball playing dimension and killing how effective our backs are.

Then we have Ciraldo offering no go forward at all. We're losing a 20 hitups for 150+ metres forward, and replacing him with an ~8 hit ups for 40 metres gained forward.

I can't believe that we're not allowed to use a healthy player even though we have over 2 million dollars worth of players unavailable for this round. That's even worse then having an injury... we're being forced to select a shit player because he is available and leave out one of our future stars. :(

Also my 2 million is based on what we're still paying Jenko, ontop of the overpaid players in Coote, Grant and McKendry being close to the 2 millions alone. Throw in Blake Austin, Tom Humble, Jeremy Latimore etc. and it should comfortably be 2 million on the sidelines. Meanwhile we can't pick a bloke who is earning less than the minimum wage of the NRL because of some ridiculous rule.

Whilst moylan is undoubtedly a large loss (and a ridiculous one) IMO grant is a much bigger one in the context of the game. The tigers pack could actually get on top of the panthers now. If that happens, considering both teams are fielding nsw cup strength back, Benji Marshall COULD be the difference between them.

Shaun Spent. f**k me dead. I'd rather play one man down than have Spent on the bench. His stints on the field are usually mercifully short because his stamina is so poor. Spensational indeed.

This. If one side gets it, so should others.

Tigers have been the f**king NSW media wankfest side for a long time.

Less a dig at the Tigers tbh (who I hold no Ill-will towards as a club) and more the media in general. Isn't really your fault.

Thank you franklin for saving me effort of typing that.

@851 - no Ill-will towards you mate either. Yes, players are back this week and in Windsor. But when they weren't, we never got the same sympathy, and it shits a lot of us off.

Seeing as we can't play 'the media' this week (The idea of Plummy hitting Rothfield is more than a little appealing) you guys will have to do. ;-)
No worries mate, but I would pay to see that.
