Really, your argument is based on what happened last year? f**k let's go back to 2001 where we won the comp
LOL, and we're accused of living in the past!

Then again, at least we had golden run that nearly spanned a decade and I'm old enough to remember all of it. The Knights had a dynasty of one whole premiership and nothing else since other than a wooden spoon. And somehow we're the shit club. Nice one!

Google is your friend and would help you avoid embarrassing statements like this.

It's embarrassing that you would claim 1997 as a real premiership.

Why wouldn't I?
My team was in a proffessional competition with other teams we won it, did your team have an oppurtunity to also win a competition that contained other proffesional teams? Yes. Were they good enough to win it? No.

Guaranteed if your mob won the Super league final you would claim it, saying the Knights or the broncos didn't win a premiership in 1997 is merely a cop out the history books say they both indeed won a comp in 1997, therefore, my comment remains google is your friend.

Also your team has been in a competition in one form or another 7 years longer than the Knights and have won 1 more premiership and the same amount of spoons, so your golden run that spanned nearly a decade wasn't really that golden now was it?

Knights, 25 years, 1 Grand Final appearance, 1 premiership, 1 recent wooden spoon. Also rans every other year.

Raiders, 32 years, 5 Grand Final appearances, 3 premierships, 1 wooden spoon in their inaugural year. Genuine contenders from 1987 - 1997.

Yeah, somehow I'd prefer my memories over your shitty ones of a club built around one player. How many games in a row did you lose again when Andrew Johns broke his jaw, was it 13?

Meh whilst you continue with that pea brained train of thought there is obviously no point conversing with you as you are just another typical sore loser.
Enjoy the rest of the 2013 season.

I'd rather be I the knights position then the raiders. Who will never ever be able to attract a player of any class ever again.

Well, I can understand why you wouldn't, being a Knights fan and all. Not really much to care about.
Yeah, 2 premierships is not much to care about ... idiot.

Comparing the past is pointless, it's about the present you mong. Face it, you have to bring up the past because you have no other argument and your current team is shite.

So you dispute the FACT that an NRL website lists the Knights as the winners of the 1997 premiership but then say your team has won 3 premierships in a competition thta is governed by the same people that say Newcastle won in 97, your logic is that of a simple person.

At the end of the day yes your team has had some bad ref decisions but so has EVERY team in the comp, you just seem to want to use them to justify how poorly your team played, as they were beaten by a team that had its 4th and 5th string centres playing and lost its captain for half a game.

In reality the KNights played a better game then the Raiders on that paticular day.

How much did the Faiders beat the Knights by that year mong.
The Raiders didn't beat the Knights that year because the Knights were in a weaker comp. That's why ARL 1997 is a Clayton's premiership. Gotta beat the best teams to be considered the best, mong.

The same table lists the Storm as the premiers in 2007 and 2009...

Beside each of them is an # and at the bottom of the page the explanation is
# The Storm stripped of 2007 and 2009 Premierships due to salary cap breaches

Logic isn't one of your strong points is it?
