We struggled for 15 minutes in the 1st half and don't make out you're the only team missing players. We had one of our key backrowers and both starting centres out so nice try...

No one said we were world beaters, but we're better than your mob.

Gidley was concussed and missed half the game.

WE played with our 4th and 5th choice centres but your "form slump" still managed to let us win thanks mate.

The finals series last year seems to indicate otherwise... One of our teams made it, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Knights!

Lol @ you thinking a few penalties won us the game. Of course it wasn't Mullen's great long kicking game and keeping you in your own end, or our forward pack being completely dominant on the night ...

f**k me, even the Titans beat us 36 - 0, and that was without the refereeing assistance that Wayne's Knights needed.

When did I say we were on fire? I'm just pointing out how we won, but thanks for putting words into my mouth...

Yeah, well the Raiders were a lot better against the Knights. I realise they still weren't at their best, but they were a rabble against the Tits and Panthers. Do I have to point out again that we were missing players?

:lol: Who gives a shit about last season? Unless you won a comp (which you didn't), nobody cares where you finished. We're into a new season Buddy. Although I guess when your side is currently coming dead last you've gotta hold onto the past because the present must not be too fun.

It's all about this year, where quite simply your team is the shittest, only have to look at the CURRENT ladder to know that.

No, I think I got it. You were implying that Newcastle's position was going to drop significantly using Penrith last season as an example. I was implying that it is also very possible that the Raiders will remain in the same position for the rest of the year and collect the spoon just like Parra did last season.

Who knows what will happen. All we do know for sure is that Newcastle are still two games closer to making the finals than Canberra are.
