We could convert all of NZ to league and it wouldn't really mean shit all, and we're not gonna do that anyway when we just massacre them and they have union to fall back on.
Just thought I would add that I'm glad we massacred them. I don't think a close score between nz and oz is good for the game or any of that nonsense, we should massacre them and we did. If England could improve, get better than the kiwis and give us close scores, that would be good for the game. Fingers crossed on that.

1. NZ fans should acknowledge that 2008 was a fluke, & the 2010 tournament was won off the back of 2 blatant forwards passes.

Most of the australian tries last night were flukes.

ETA - I'm not bagging them, I just feel they got a bit of help from below and that any other day they might not have been as lucky.

There was fire & kaha among the bro's following that presentation...

SBW has got that steel, the same look the week before the NRL Grand final...one more week & we can win this thing

While the eyes are on RTS, Foran will shimmy out wide & unleash 'the Beast"
 all round.

God that match needed England in it. Quite boring and just resembled a typical NRL match which is typically not very entertaining compared to a super league match.

Johnson was rubbish and I blame the coaching in part for contriving a game plan counter to their insincts where almost every kick on last was a bomb. The bomb is rubbish and doesnt win matches against good teams.

I expect the next major tournament the big 3.
Will have all different coaches

With 15 NRL clubs to NZ's 1, Australia should have won by this margin.

problem is your best players play in the 15 NRL clubs :lol:

Isaak Luke, SBW, Foran, Kasiano, Paul Nu'uausala, Tuivasa-Sheck, Waerea-Hargreaves,

Australia would have flogged England by more. Stop kidding yourselves

Doubt it. they would have been hungrier in front of their home crowd

kiwis thought they could just rock up at keep the title cause they had the brotherhood, lol

The way Australia played they would have belted the English too

Too much is being made of how crap the Kiwis were. They walked into an ambush that would have turned any team into amateurs

Jarryd Hayne is a freak at centre, hopefully Brad Arthur was waching this and puts Hayne/Hoppa in the centres and Norman at Fullback

I think you just have to look at the Morris try to see that no one was beating us last night. Everything was just going our way.

Brilliant all-round display obviously, loved it, I know what some will say, "...it was like some NRL matches, boring...", well IMO it was a lesson to everyone.

Also the pitch should have bn made 90m long with 5.5m in-goal areas. Quite simple, just have a staggered line across the park, 5 metres beyond the 40m line, which would be the pretend 30m line, as we see at Castleford, and was the case at Knowsley Road, St Helens for years. It would have bn the same for both sides.

Disappointing for Kiwis, but Australia were definitely deserved winners. Even if we hadn't lost Tuivasa-Sheck to injury, dropped the ball at crucial points (e.g. JWH first tackle from penalty) or pushed passes that turned possession over (e.g. SBW), I just don't think that Aussie team were gonna be beaten last night.

Oh well, at least we got 2 pts on the board, and had the 'glory' moment last week!

Well done Australia, till next time.

Thurston deserved the MoM, but Hayne would have been just as deserving.
Hayne deserves to celebrate some victories, he gives it his all every game.

Lol Kiwis, yep sure is how world champs play! England would have made a better game.
Back to the drawing board for those guys, perhaps get a better sports psych....pretty much the Sam Stosur of int footy.
