Not going to complain too much at that decision, nobody spotted him grounding it first time around. The general leniency towards Australia's slowing in the second half was the game winner.

How can anyone think that was a try? He had no control of the ball and no downward pressure. A finger on the ball isnt a try anymore. He knocked the ball dead. Right call.

Fair enough, I'll go back and re-watch later. Tomkins was down for a bit after the challenge. I thought they'd show it again so I could have another look.

Ball on the ground. Hall on the ball. Try. Jennings drops it and it bounces up, and its awarded. Bollocks.

PLEASE! Jennings try was a try and day of the week. That last play, if anything Inglis grounded the ball "just", well before any of that other bullshit. I think it should have been No try, line drop out.

Sooo, England blow their chance.

England need to win by 10 next week to go ahead of the Kiwis, and Australia need to beat Samoa by 25 (assuming NZ lose by 10) to also go ahead of NZ.

NZ just need to win and avoid those conditions.

Samoa on the other hand, need to win and make up the 10 points F/A on England through beating Australia and having NZ beat England.

That wasn't a try.
But then again neither was Jennings.
Better team lost.

Biggest story here.

Rugby league Interantionaal season TEN TIMES BETTER than the tripe Rugby Union has put up this year.

Forget how close that was - Australia were very lucky and won't make the final.....

Yes, they will. They will probably win it too. I know, it sucks that the team that represents our country won a match. I'm disappointed.

England played wonderfully today. England vs. NZ next week will be the game of the tournament.

I may be biased but Ben Hunt's admission into the game changed the momentum of the game
I hate Broncos, but without a doubt he changed momentum. Much better then Cronk and DCE. Although Thaiday was deadset shit... so just replacing him with a non genius made us better.

f**king cheating merkins. Appoint your own refs to screw over the other team. How can anyone be proud to be from Australia when your governing body pulls shit like that.

It is if its on the ground. You don't have to regain control if the ball is on the ground. That rule has never changed.
