BM like predictions from you two. It's 2.5% more accurate.

4.2/8 = 1.05 * 0.5 but enough maths, more footy talk.

So bunnniesman would you say the panthers are a sure thing for this game, need to get my bets on...

One thing we can all agree on is Mister Ed is back after finding out reality is too real.

I think the Panthers will start a bit slow and disjointed and grow into a very good team over the next year or 2. Who knows how the Knights will go without Mullen, but the rest of the team is much more settled than the Panthers at this point. Mullen is invaluable, but we should be able to get someone in there to do a job for us. We didn't get Dobson for nothing.

Will be interesting to see how Roberts goes without Mullen holding his hand.

Impossible to tip this... heart says Knights, head says Panthers. Hoping for a reasonable quality game for Round 1 and no injuries to anyone.

We expect Idris to play. Very much looking forward to the battle of the centres, Idris/Whare vs BJ/Gagai.

Also the forwards battle, Plum, Taylor and Docker hitting Snowden and Mason, and on the other side Scott, Mason and Smith hitting McKendry and Grant. I hope for fireworks.

Well Knights v Penrith last year was arguably the poorest game of NRL footy I've seen since the turn of the century.

So hopefully this game is a little more entertaining!

Knights vs Parra at home in 2010 made that game look like the 89 Grand Final.

Yeah cheers Bunnyman, but we don't need to make such big calls just yet.
It's too early in the season to pick this one.
The fanboy in me says Panthers by 10.

Gotta go Knights. Can't see why so many are tipping the pennies. Not a bad team, but I rate Newcastle.

A pair of international back rowers is weak? I'm glad we have them...

You will get some decent things from the pair. Strong defense is not one of those things though.

Your edges will be tested throughout the year if they're going to be the second rowers.

The light back row doesn't really faze me. I reckon Brown and Taylor will go good.
Mansour is a prime mover and Jamal's a fully loaded log truck, so I don't think we'll be weak at all. It will come down to skills and errors.

Fitness obviously notwithstanding, I rate Manu and Robinson over both of them, easily. I'd start Cartwright over Brown there as well, even though Cartwright's like, still in nappies.

There is a reason Warriors fans weren't exactly cut up to see those two go. Steady but underwhelming.

Still, it's the side that 99% of Panthers assumed Clearly would name, but I'm just somewhat underwhelmed given the supposed awesome recruiting job we have done. The side looks....flat, to me. Obviously, will happily be proven wrong and eat the requisite humble pie should it happen.
