Last year he got this team within a game of the Grand Final, to me that his greatest coaching achievement to date.

And you mention "this team" but he's built this team. He's responsible for a team that is looking like having just 1 good year out of 3 from 2012-14. Even if it's considered a success to get mediocre cattle to a gf qualifier, it still should be considered a failure that he has built the cattle to be mediocre in the first place.

Whaaat? He's recruited more than Boyd, for one. He's chosen who to keep, who to release, and who to hire. How is he not to blame for the side he's put together?
