If Hodkinson had put himself in a position to receive the ball and didn't get it I'd hang it on Farah but Hodkinson was so scared of f**king up he didn't even bother. The first one, Pearce attracted the inside chasers to the right, spun it back into the middle for Hodkinson, right foot or not he had very little pressure on him, even if he didn't want to take the shot he should've been the one putting boot to ball instead of throwing a cut out ball to Jennings who had a wall of defenders in front of him.
The second time, if he was behind the ruck on Farah's right hand side (the correct side for a right foot kicker) and Farah ignored him I'd hang it on Farah, but you watch the replay, Hodkinson was on Farah's left, the wrong side for him to take a shot and he wasn't back, he was in the line, was never in a position to take the shot
um what? In that post i pointed out last year (when we won) as also being poor quality. It isn't about the result.
Hodkinson was MIA. Blues forward pack got rolled the entire second half. Blues kicking game was under three, fourth grade reggies stuff. Would of been better off jogging down field and handing it back to QLD.
NSW can't go into the next game with Pearce and Hodkinson as the halves. Less than zero creativity between them.
4th tackle before you're first option was surely his best shot. All the commentators were claiming he was there, but Farah went to Pearce who shuffled it thru the hands. On the Dugan attempt, he was in position and Farah didn't pick the right man. There is an issue between Farah and Hodkinson, I am sure. Notice how many time Hodkinson got the ball on the fifth in the second half. Pearce must have kicked every time.
I don't care who's fault it is, but Daley needs to sort it out.
Not sad, it's Origin and it's ordained that Qld must win, I'm stunned we broke the convention last year.
Perhaps you can point out the refs decisions that hurt Qld.
One offside penalty in the entire second half which allowed Qld to get in position to score their try.
And unsurprisingly, NSW didn't get a single offside penalty all game.
But in the set of six prior to Qld getting the penalty, Qld was offside at least 3 times, the commentators even mentioned it.
But that's okay because it's origin and Qld gets the leg up.
It is pretty strange. Both sides were guilty of being offside, either you penalise them both for that, or not at allNot sad, it's Origin and it's ordained that Qld must win, I'm stunned we broke the convention last year.

I'm all for Farah getting dropped for someone better, but peats is nowhere near him.
Friend, segyearo, ballin sure. Peats is average and surprisingly soft.
Who replaces Pearce then? Who replaces that timid little mong Hodkinson? 3-0 a very real possibility now.
Is that the standard of Origin these days? One of the worst games ever. Rather watch the U20s - get more excitement out of it..
Kiwis v Aus should play 5 tests every year minimum.
Unfortunately, Friend is a Queenslander, and Segs is a PNGer but has been kidnapped by Queensland. Farah had a quiet game but he's got a lot of runs on the board.
