Pearce was much better (or considerably less shit, anyway) than he has been in the past, however people praising his kicking game boggles the mind. Useless bombs all night, the only decent kick he put in was when Slater and Boyd f**ked up their communication. Have to think it was an ironclad part of the game-plan though because he didn't shy away from it when it clearly wasn't working. QLD's kicking game was much, much better than ours.

The Roosters do it week after week too. It legit is some sort of game plan. More hang-time on bomb = more time for defenders to get to the kick returners and shut them off. Not saying a lot of the kicks were great (they weren't), but the bombs are done with purpose

You do realise like last year NSW tried to turn it into a slug fest right? NSW can't match it with QLD in an open free flowing game. They know Slater, Inglis, Hodges, Thurston, Cronk etc will tear them a new one in that type of game. QLD ignored the niggle this time though, hell Fafita was looking to start a fight with the markers almost every carry he had, his first carry of the match saw him get up an take a swing at the marker. Blame your own state for the level of entertainment you received from the game.

oh please this is the biggest load of shit. NSW were off side as much as QLD, in one wide shot not a single blue was onside, you know what the ref did? Penalise? No he took two steps forward so they were then behind him rather than penalise them. Both teams got away with a lot last night. Also the penalty count was 6 each ( nrl.com ), check your facts before you tell someone else too yeah?
