Slater was also offside. I don't think Kiwi is capable of thinking outside what the Courier Fail tells him to think.

I haven't read through all the pages of posts, but did anyone else think Laurie Daley's use of (or lack of) his interchange players really cost us the game? I thought that after NSW began to dominate in the first half and Josh Morris scored, Daley should have introduced Andrew Fifita into the game - his late footwork would have ask big questions of a Queensland defence that was beginning to tire. Also, I'm very surprised Klemmer wasn't introduced at some point, even if it was only for a short stint as Tamou began to fatigue and fade away.
The second half was a real mess for me. What stood out was that he had both Hoffman and Boyd Cordner on the field at the same time; I can't for the life of me think why he would have two similar forwards on the field at the same time, particularly when we needed some go forward. As a result, I felt that Daley left too many of NSW's starting forwards on the bench for too long. I also thought, when Queensland's line speed really picked up, that Daley missed a trick in not bringing Klemmer into the game. Similarly, where was Trent Merrin? Surely his footwork, offloading ability and overall dynamic style of play would have been a good way of counter-attacking against a Queensland attack that was dominating heavily.

good post.
chambers motm for mine. absolutely outstanding
No surprise to see one of Hodges' last acts in origin in Sydney was that of the typical wanker he has always been.

I thought Chambers was awesome too. Did a mountain of work. Always put his hand up to carry the ball back deep in our own half and it was always at 1000 miles per hour.
Darius Boyd needs to be dropped for mine. Slow as a wet week and a real liability. Sure he is solid under the high ball but he never seems to have any urgency.

Lol yeah how dare Hodges do what every other player does. I mean kicking the ball out to try and end play, how normal of him.he looked well in front of the kicker I thought too.
correct decision.

It was a dive after failing to hold Slater back, if they were applying the rules properly the Blues player infringed first if they wanted to call that a push. Maroons get the penalty could be argued penalty try as Slater got to the ball and grounded despite being held back illegally.Slater pushed the bloke in the back, he didn't need to but he did and the try was rightfully disallowed.
Chambers you would expect will replace Hodges. Unsure where ther next winger comes from.blood gagai, QLD should be starting to think about bringing in more backline talent with Hodges calling it curtains after this year (?) and slater getting on.
What pat a player after an error which also happens all the time. How about you try again.ah yeah that's what I meant .
have another go.
I know what you meant you f**king sook.
Like he's the first person to pat an opposition player on the back after making an error
