The Cowboys are no where near their peak, they have been playing patchy at best in the 10 game winning streak.

The difference is they now don't give up when they are playing crap and they have the belief to turn it around, that's why they are winning.

The Broncos game is the only one where you could say the Cowboys played well for 80 minutes.

glad to see you like to remain in the minority section of the Cowboys fans.

So let me guess. The Broncos aren't peaking early and have a habit of winning at the end of the season? Could you be any more hypocritical in calling Cowboys fans arrogant, by coming into this thread and bignoting yourself.

And as for the claim the Cowboys regularly start the season well, and fade late. Do you actually watch Rugby League besides the Broncos??

Winning's a pretty bloody good habit to get into, and the Cowboys aren't at their best yet imo.

They get thru the rest of SOO period okay, stay relatively injury-free and they will finish top 4, if not top 2. I don't think travelling is a concern anymore, but their starts at the business end of the season will need to be much better. Everyone talks about the bullshit calls against them in the finals, but to go down 30-nil in a sudden death game is not acceptable.

Still, the season is only 13 rounds old and a lot can happen between now and then.

I can definitely see what you're saying re. peaking too early Kiwi, but good sides stay consistent and they stay mentally strong. Losing in heartbreaking circumstances 3 (?) years straight will have them steeled for a big finals series this year I reckon.
I certainly hope zthings keep going for them.

It can go either way for us as well. Recent years says we will fade, like with the Cowboys time will tell. This is certainly the best position we have been in for some time now during origin. I prefer to be realistic, yes we are a title chance, but it's a long way to go. Prefer not to beat off prematurely.

I'm 100% in agreement, it's way too early.

I just get annoyed by some posters wanting Cowboys fans to be meek and not enjoy a win.

Oh I get that lap it up man enjoy them for sure. I think to often you see people taking digs at those teams doing better. I've learnt to ignore the constant shit thrown at my club, donkeys, drongos etc. I only bit at the arrogant comment TBH which came off as more arrogant than was meant i think

It was in response to your falsehood, you only have yourself to blame.

No falsehood you just can't handle anything but smoke blown up your arse. Nothing I said in the comment you first replied to was wrong or bagging the Cowboys. At the end of the day they Cowboys are playing very well. You don't go on a 10 game winning streak playing shit footy. Yes they can improve, by how much is debatable, but it can also go the other way like it or not.

You know better to engage in this with the biggest homers of the NRL.
They're used to walking all over the Cows, I seen many fans saying they'll be happy to play Cows come finals, because Broncs have such a strong record over Cows in the finals..and all.

Some Broncos fans are clueless, definitely not all. In this instance though I just think they are not appreciating some company at the top of the ladder - "oh it must be because they are peaking too early".

A mindset similar to the liberal party, born to rule.

JT's interview after the manly game was a promising sign, just won their 9th in a row but all he could say was how ordinary they were and that there was plenty to improve on.

Didn't sound like they were getting ahead of themselves
