f**k knuckle, most of the posters in here aren't Tigers fans and pretty much everyone aside from Parra fans (and even some of them) were calling it.

They got a penalty every time they dropped the ball coming out of trouble. Like, they make error in position where we go on attack and they instead go on attack. I'd say that happened 4 or 5 times alone. Could have been a 30 point turnaround.

Here's the stats;

Tigers made 347 tackles to 257 and only missed 11 compared to 25.
Tigers led offloads 5 to 3 with only 45% possession.
Parramatta made 11 errors to the Tigers 9... and
won the penalty count 12 to 4 lol.

I'll tell you what the difference was, field position. They got up there and kicked it over Naqaiama's head pretty much... One tactic... Sucks we sucked too hard to defend it but they shouldn't have ever even got up there.

The ones I saw looked like strip penalties, so correct calls, the blocker penalty, although hardly ever get called, again was correct decision, suck it up princess

No team is 13-3 ill disciplined, or whatever the geniused penalty count was. Get f**ked

So what about the Mannah play the ball drop ball? or the perfectly legal tackle by Taupau? and the knock on strips? what about the Teddy no try?

What's your opinion on those

Let's please get rid of the strip rule. If you can't hold the bloody ball you don't deserve to have possession. Refs have stuffed the game. It'd not about which is the better team its which team will get fewer infringements. A shame an entertaining game was screwed by weird call after weird call. Perverse

(And tigers need to drown Drinkwater. Pun intended )

You watched a different game then. Nearly every knock on penalty was a loose carry or poor play the ball.

Then there's the Tedesco try which was ruled a knock on when it's a 100% obvious try with perfect grounding despite the ball being kicked.

I'm a neutral but that game was ruined by refs for me. It was so lopsided I was getting shitty despite not caring for either team.

This! The onus should be on the ball carrier. If in doubt it should be a knock on. They literally guess that it was raked every single time. Unless you see it blatantly, it's a knock on imo. I don't care if it'd cause more playing at the ball... if you can't hold it you suck.

I am personally of the opinion the refs do whatever they think won't influence the game based on field position and flow of possession when those sorts of decisions have to be made, let's be honest for a second.. the refs have no idea as to whether it was a loose carry or an intentional rake at the ball

Exactly. Might add more excitement to the game. If your team is behind and can get the ball back that way so be it. The strip rule as is isn't terrible....it just leaves the possibility for poor referees to misuse it. Teams looking to offload or with no regard for ball security are rewarded. Referees decide games not teams anymore.

yeah, we got the rub of the green. Parra were sloppy with the ball. we didn't earn that many penalties.

In saying that some of the strip calls were blatantly right, why you would strip the ball when parra are in their own 20m is beyond me..Tigers were hard done by but at the same time shot themselves in the foot.

Thought we were the better team honestly lol

Refs being on Parras side gave us no ball in the 2nd half tho

Opening 20 = Parra
Closing 20 in the 1st half = tigers

second Half = Eels

our forwards were just rolling up nicely and even our wingers were getting good metres with good hit ups.

Tedesco was probably the only good player for you guys

In no way were we that good either but we were better for majority of the match and we played pretty shit

Yeh because you had an 8 to 2 second half penalty count. 12 to 4 for the match. Fair reffing and we would have put 40 points on the way Tedesco and Moses were playing.

That opening 20 you scored 2 tries after Tigers were disallowed a fair try and you instead got a 7 tackle set. Ref gets it right Eels are down 6 nil in that period.

That second half was one sided in the penalty count. Your forwards weren't making the meters. The guy blowing the whistle after each knock on was.

It's a very different game if the referee gets these calls right... and no way do the Eels walk away with 2 points if he does. It's not their fault though. Any team will take errors in their favour. Just happened to be the Eels last night. But it hasn't been that one sided in a long time.

Getting the 2 points was awesome.

Seeing all you whiny, baby f**ks sooking about the refs and and saying you'd have put 40 on is f**king priceless.

This is most excellent.

It took your steaming pile of dog shit team a 12-4 penalty count to conjour up a win against the guarenteed wooden spooners. Well done

At least you guys won't be playing finals footy either Ayy lmao
