NSW played too dumb to win that.

One pivotal moment was Fifita's misguided offload. NSW has just got on top and QLD looked tired.
From that offload and the ensuing repeat sets both teams were put on their feet.

The other turning point was the knock on over rule but the set before it came off Jennings melon and NSW were given the feed. Astounding how they got both calls so wrong.

I felt the high tackle call that gave QLD the two points was also pretty stiff.

I think NSW would be a better chance in these games if Smith's time lying around the ruck was limited to 25 seconds rather than the 30 given.

I don't think NSW need to change too many, QLDs experience at those important parts of the game is what got them home. Walker is an obvious out though.
