Yeah, Penrith shit themselves in the second half.

Two years ago they were a team that wanted to win, now they are a team that doesn't want to lose.

Sounds exactly like a team coached by Griffin and lead around by Wallace at halfback.

Yeah.......... Nup

Wanker. And won't play more than 15 NRL games in his career. We'll all be watching the Bulldogs club day during the 2027 NRL pre season when tonight's game is replayed and we'll all be going - "Kerrod Holland kicked the winning goal? Who in the Funk is that? Never heard of the f**ker!"

Yeah the interview needed more "just taking it week to week" or some non-sensical English topped off with the obligatory "doin it for da boooooizzz!"

Tosspot.

He was hooker tonight.

Griffin was responsible though. He selected an injured player. Reshuffling half the backline to fit him in. He then got injured again. Losing an interchange and forcing another reshuffle. Then when we got an inevitable new injury we had to play a man down.

Players made mistakes. Missed tackles and so on. But they all played at their best and you cant hold their shortcomings against them. But you can hold a coach decreasing his teams chances before kick off.

We played with a lot of heart tonight and showed a lot of promise. But it was stupid to risk Whare when our next game was an extra 10 days away and he clearly wasn't 100%.

You did get 2 free interchanges though, I think Griffin stuffed it up big time

Just shows how big a basket case Parra are, straight back into his Manly form he could never recapture at the Eels, blokes class all over just needed a good team.

Same happened to Watmough and watch the same happen to Jennings and Foran, they'll do nothing.

This is Mckendrys best game in ages

That's because I took him out of my 17 in fantasy.

I hate it when a guy playing his first nrl game is happy about kicking the winning goal and all confident like.

dogs lost tolman after 17, panthers lost whare in the middle of the second half, so both would have changed each coaches interchange plans

in the last ten minutes tho, panthers looked out of gas (despite the dogs giving them opportunities to seal it with dropped ball etc ) and had no interchanges to take off an injured players. the dogs meanwhile had 1 up their sleeve and bought on klemmer with about 7-8 to go

The short turn around wouldn't have helped but either did griffin burning through his interchanges

did penny take advantage of the free interchange for the graham shoulder charge ?

There was a completely baffling ref decision late in the second half. Tony Williams knocked on whilst trying to offload, but dogs got a penalty. Ref made a motion like he was tackled without the ball or something, but that wanst close to being the case. Everyone was like wtf was that for. Anyone know what that was about ?

I think it was for Moses M'bye (who passed the ball to williams) tackled well after he had passed to williams. I think i heard the refs or touchies say 'tackled after passing', while williams was still in the process of being tackled, so they let play go until williams knocked on then went back to the M'bye late hit.

the penalty was for markers not being square

Anything said about DWZ being held by Reynolds at marker for the first M'bye try?

Tough game of footy. Enjoyed it immensely. Credit to Dogs for sticking to it, and credit to our boys for having a real crack given last week and the short turn around.

f**k me people will blame Griffin for anything. Even with the injuries we should probably be 2 - 0, and I think he got the side spot on last night. Imagine throwing TMM into the fire against a pack the size of the dogs?
