Reed and Oates play you don't even score.
This is just silly now.
Reed and Oates play you don't even score.
Seriously unbelievable game, better standard than the GF imo,
Eden touched it when JT already had possession of the ball. There is no doubt JT knocked on though.Wouldn't the ball be dead off the Cows when Eden touches it?
so section 9.1 of the rules states:
"The ball is in touch when it or a player in contact with it touches the touch line or the ground beyond the touch line or any object on or outside the touch
line "

In the notes directly below that:
Ball Dead 1. Where the ball which is stationary in the field of play or the in-goal area comes in contact with a
player in touch, touch in-goal or over the dead ball line, the ball is deemed to have been made
dead by that player
What do you call the disgrace of the Gillett no try...
Both sides got poor calls
I don think the ball was stationary in this instance though.
Interesting the bunker + both commentary teams didn't mention this happening though. Milford touched on it in his interview.
It was the correct call
Let's say for arguments sake Thurston is awarded the try and the Cowboys win, a fair and honest result considering had Gillett's fair try actually been awarded, like it should have been, Broncos are 26 - 18 up when Cowboys get the penalty with a few minutes left. So a Thurston goal doesn't send it into golden point. People will ignore the fact the Cowboys were in a position to win due to a very very bad call. Again people will ignore that fact and say Cowboys were robbed.

Where are Cowboys fans whinging?

If we are changing calls then you have to also take off the 2 incorrectly awarded penalties for their first 2 penalty goals, so therefore Broncos are only up by 4.
Why didn't you answer the question by the way? You said Feldt knocked the ball into an opposing player. Can you tell us which one?
Which very bad call? The Gillette one? I would say give it but the ball does move so I can see where the ref is justified.
We weren't robbed. Had plenty of opportunities to put the game away but we didn't.
Happy being able to hang with the Broncos, who have looked downright scary in attack at times.
Then you can technically take Morgans try away for Taumalolo being offside and inside the 10, or the ref could have blown all the legit penalties for offside markers, laying in the play the ball, inside the 10... or better yet Coote going for 10 for his professional foul. There was another that should have gone before him as well. Cowboys gave away deliberate penalties early to prevent tries, Green must be bringing in some Roosters tactics from his days there. The team that deserved to win actually won.
I thought he knocked it into Eden to answer your question.
