So angry bear is trying to argue that a team that went arse up (of course it was the weathers fault 🙄) after 70 plus years of abject on field failure then couldn't survive in a merger are an entity that are financially responsible?

I'm pretty sure this character is the same nimrod who about a decade ago was adamant the bears were coming back because a few thousand pitying members of the public signed on as 'members' outside bunnings.

Back to hibernation please.

Every single Bears fan in this forum should be lining up to kiss Perth Red on the dick, just for the chance to see their club in the NRL and over half a dozen 'away' games in Sydney every year.

Instead we're getting demands that Perth home games need to be at a ~10K cricket ground and a Perth club needs to be run by Bears admin....

All they've done is shown any Bears relocation would be an absolute disaster from the beginning.
From what I’ve read here PR spends most of his time kissing his dick. He doesn’t need any help.

Plenty of businesses who were flying high a decade ago no longer exist and plenty businesses who were small a decade ago have grown substantially.

Things evolve, businesses change strategies, management gets turned over. New people with new ideas come on board. What’s ultimately your point? Are you just having a rant because your blue care nurse hasn’t come over to change your adult diaper and feed you supper yet?

Funnily enough there’s been no counter argument to what I’ve said this week - just “your sides old and only boomers support them”. Ok, cool. Way to be the critical thinker.

Experienced coaches you have Macguire, Holbrook, Griffin, Brad Arthur if he gets punted from Parra, Demetriou.. Inexperienced coaches you got Josh Hannay, Jason Ryles although he's probably waiting for Bellamy to retire, Maybe Peter Wallace...

Didn't say they were top line but there are always options...

How many of them do you back to get a new club pushing for wins?

Much like the players there are always options but quality is an issue

After listening to Red&BlackBear on here over the last few weeks I completely understand now why Manly shafted the Bears in that merger, I`d have done it myself gladly if they were anything like him.

No.

Just looking at the best strategy for the NRL.

Hurting a competitor , stealing junior players and creating more Rugby league talk in the Country and creating another derby game sounds like good strategy to me.

As for bids.

Apparently the Gold Coast bid was great.

Look how that turned out.

What a shyte franchise.

obviously being lined up to coach team 18

Vlandys, Bennett, Gould all have grand vision for the game. For years fans were talking down the sport & limiting it to the AFL route of domestic franchises totally funded by the league.
