If the goal is to increase internationals I'm on board. And I'd happily trade on a 2 to one. Like 20 rounds ( cutting 6 games) and 3 weeks more internationals, meaning more players playing more internationals because they can put off surgeries until after the international season- that's right , an international season..is finished. Win win !

It may happen eventually and I’m not against it in full but won’t happen for teams 18-20 unless something really goes pear shaped.

V’Landys has been clear on any new QLD team can’t take fans from other clubs. I don’t believe any of the QLD bids can overcome this, along with the Dolphins deserving some time to establish themselves further within the NRL and have some breathing space.

Sick of the AFL threats though, if Broncos, Dolphins, Titans and Cowboys can’t hold off the Lions and Suns, another NRL club isn’t going to help.
