Welcome to 1960s England
AlboWho is going to pay to upgrade it to 25k? The 3rd world country?
Love how they thought png it was madness too, but knew it was a story with actual momentum, not some pie in the sky pasifika in Christchurch that whatshisface was spinning, seriously whos bidding there?
afl blah blah blah
State of origin locked in for 2025 and 2028. That must burn, especially as we'll get bigger crowds than Brisbane lol
There would two tenants in this $300mill stadium you want built. Both struggle to fill 50% of current capacity. why would the govt spend money on that? Any sports event that needs more than a 20,500 capacity is played in the state the art $1.2 bill 60k capacity stadium.
Until either of the two tenants, or a future NRL club, needs a better home stadium no major public money is getting spent.
Perth Red will blame it on the ARLC for not spending millions on development officers.
Do you see the irony of perth drawing bigger crowds for origin than Brisbane lolDon't you see the irony?
A State of Origin match between Queensland and NSW in Perth habitually draws bigger crowds than the Reds' highest attendance.
It proves why it's a waste of time putting a team in Perth.
If fans didnt watch rectangular sport at ovals youd have a point. There were no tenants at Lang Park when it was redeveloped 22 ears ago.
Ovals are inappropriate for a rugby league game. The ARLC needs to stop selling Origin to Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth until these backwater shitholes build an appropriate rectangular stadium.
Didn't you blame the Reds' shit crowds on being played at a f**ken oval?If fans didnt watch rectangular sport at ovals youd have a point.
But seeing as rugby leagues biggest crowds are in ovals you dont
What NRl should do is play less games in a sht city like Brisbane that doesnt even have a decent sized stadium lol
Tell me you've never been to the WACA or Optus Stadium without telling me lol. Chalk and cheese.Didn't you blame the Reds' shit crowds on being played at a f**ken oval?
