Lol, Sydney & Melbourne two of the most acclaimed tourist destinations in the world, but they no good according to some here..just to support argument for Perth NRL club. Weird really..

They no good indeed 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously, the best part of our country is our natural history and diversity. The beauty of the Kakadu, Kimberley, Great Barrier Reef s**** all over any city in Australia and probably the world

Also you are kidding on the two of the most acclaimed. Sydney comes in at 57th and Melbourne in 91st. Here’s the list

cultural cringe..when mlb came here they were gushing about the scg heritage stands. Swans fans here want to knock them down for a mini MCG. Some ppl have an inferiority complex when it comes to Australia..

Sure. Or I am just being realistic?

Our cities aren’t particularly interesting to visit. How controversial.

Lots of interesting architecture in LA from suburban trailer style & bungalows to high end modernist. Sydney school of architecture some of the most interesting in the world.

It’s also particularly dirty and an absolute pain in the backside to navigate.

Ppl here missing point deliberately; south Brisbane huge growth area hence huge retail outlets. NRL should go there next.

Yeah because south Brisbane is the only growth area in Australia and the evidence is that there is a big retail outlet based there.

Seriously where is that straw that you are clutching at

Country u grew up in is less interesting to you. I find favelas in Brazil fascinating, but I imagine locals there probably think the same about Australia..
Ask most people in Europe and they would rather live here than their countries which are failed socialist experiments
Perth can't survive without backing. In fact all expansion clubs should be heavily cashed up. Perth with twiggy has my total support. Unnamed businessmen entity which most likely doesn't exist is a loser..
Twiggy isn’t interested or he wouldn’t be sponsoring the dragons he would be backing the Perth bid

why they didn’t approach him I don’t know

It’s funny watching peope argue any Australian city is sht. Seriously have you been anywhere else?
different people look for different things in citie. I love Perths open spaces, weather, ease of living, beautiful nature spaces and affordable housing. Oh and we have an ikea!

As for partying, Barcelona, chicago and Berlin would be my top pick of party cites but I’m too old to care about such things these days lol

people are attracted to the unfamiliar. A lot of people from the UK want sunshine, beaches, modern buildings... they couldn't give a toss about rome, paris, the scottish highlands etc

Yeah, what would IKEA know about business & how to capitalize on areas with exploding populations?!

Sure and as a fellow poster has stated they have an IKEA in every mainland state and they have supermarkets and large stores in every state. Funny that.

Hence why I said that point is fairly mute.
