Pretty much anyone.

PNG
Perth
Nz2 - Pacific

Would be my 3 in but NZ bid has no host city even
Christchurch- brand new stadium- launching bid in Vegas- partner with all local leagues and councils. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not saying it's great but there's nobody actually launching a bid.. so I'm not sure how anyone is in front of them at this moment...

It doesn't really matter what any of you think.. still talking about PNG while they bury their dead... says it all.

PNG have a bid in though.

Doesn't mean it will get up but they have a bid in and have started work.

You said an NRL club in Perth will generate more money than the Perth Glory because the NRL has a larger profile than the A-League.

The facts don't support your bullshit narrative. Just 8k FTA and 5k PTV NRL viewers in Perth.

The Perth Glory had a larger profile than the Western Reds when they competed in a dying soccer competition that had a lower profile than the A-League.

There's no guarantee that a Perth-based NRL club will average 15-17k to its games and generate $7m or more from football operations. Everything you say is based on hope and delusion because you're emotionally invested in a Perth-based team.

The fact you're now bringing up on field success to dismiss the Glory's support in the 90s f**ks up your argument. There's no way a Perth-based NRL team will be a juggernaut on the field like the Perth Glory, Perth Wildcats, Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Storm. The Reds won 50% of their games in 1995 and drew the smallest crowds out of the four expansion clubs.
in 2027? Yep pretty sure NRL will have a bigger profile than Aleague lol. Why your pulling data from 1995 or 1997 to justify an argument for what will happen in 2027 only you know, the rest of us think its irrelevant and pointless.

Theres no guarantee it wont. Thats what business cases are for, to engender confidence in viability.

If NRL has such a large profile in Perth then how come it only has 8k FTA and 5k PTV viewers and just 4.1k RL players?

Why is NRL confined to 9Gem?

You say the crowds for the Reds from 1995-98 are irrelevant, yet you always bring up participation rates for Perth from the mid-90s because they were higher back then.

It just proves your blind hatred as usual. Literally every single thing you claim is a problem for Perth, is also a problem for other teams or other bids, but for some reason you don't believe that they are a problem because then it doesn't suit your argument.

Like this, an A League team going bust is proof that a NRL team would also go bust, but that doesn't apply to any other A League team that has gone bust.
Or travel time is a problem for Perth, but travel time to PNG which is the same or worse for most teams, is not a problem.
Or crowds in 1997 are a problem, but the teams with crowds lower in 1997 don't count.

Try using some consistency for once.
Look up the definition of "context". Learn it.
