If I was a panthers fan I’d be worried that my CEO thinks that this brain fart is a good idea! Unless of course he's just trolling the good folk of NS in which case well played sir!
He is loving it.

Takes away any responsibility the Panthers had for Bathurst, and places it elsewhere.

Do you mean Bathurst, and you did the town pays for team to play there, one home game a year doesn't seem like a huge sacrifice either, if anything having a presence in country areas is great for the game, dragons go to mudgee, sharks to coff harbour, wests to tamworth so on for forth, add the bears they double those rural games, But its a dumb idea coz they have a chance to be a powerhouse in a city like Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne2

Yep it allows more area to be covered and spreads the Sydney clubs catchments too

Reality is NRL clubs only go to country towns as they are paid to do so. Without being paid they are loss makers. Good luck basing your whole club on towns with shtty grounds, small crowds and no major corporates. Of all the Bears options this would be by far the dumbest. Well done Panthers CEO!
