I havnt been following this thread for a while but what's the latest on the 18th team ?

Still looking like PNG ? ( please no! ) any chance it'll be Perth or NZ2 ?

I read some where that Samoa and Tonga may have a team in NSW Cup ? Any substance to that ? On that piont, why not test the waters for Perth, NZ2, Adelaide .. etc by giving them a NSW/QLD team ? And while we're at it, why don't we have a TV deal for NSW cup ? The games would get about 80k viewers, that's enough for a TV deal and making the comp semi professional.
Png is a lock but it will be cairns based

Your opinion on everything and anything changes as soon as your perceived ingroup and outgroup changes. Somebody says something you don't like = bad guy, therefore everything they say must be wrong and everybody who opposes them must = good guy, and therefore correct, until they something you don't like and the cycle repeats.

All the rationalisation that comes afterwards is just that; post hock rationalisations to justify your initial emotional reaction.

There should be pictures of you next to the definitions of tribal epistemology and intuitive and emotional thought processes.
You're not half as intelligent and perceptive as you are predictable and arrogant. I accurately predicted your response, BTW.

Maybe you can explain why America has several fast food chicken restaurants beating the pants off KFC, yet none of them have bothered to expand into Australia?

You're the big expert on everything related to sport, food, restaurants and blowing wind. Here's your chance to prove it.

No you didn't LOL!
The other day Dane brought up people bringing foreign food into the country.
Funny, I seem to remember that it was you that brought the restaurant industry up. Vegan restaurants ring any bells.

I brought up vegan restaurants because the owners think they can convert 95% of the population to veganism. They fail miserably and go bust.

AwFuL thought they could convert arge swathes of people from Brisbane and Sydney into active fumbleball fans. They failed.

You think we can convert a significant amount of people from Adelaide and Perth into rugby league fans.

See where I'm going with this?

hahah so anyone who opens a Vegan restaurant is actively trying to convert everyone to veganism? rather than just provide an option and make a few bucks

the smart operators have incorporated plant based foods into their menus so they appeal to different cohorts. Just like in Sport, and why Melbourne storm have had success building a big fanbase. They dont try and 'convert' anyone, they offer them an alternative, and some people take up that alternative as well as maintaining their interest in their other sport. Thats the smart way to do it, and Im sure something Perth will have picked up on. The fact 40k WA locals were willing to pay $50-100 to watch RL last year suggests there's an appetite for an alternative in Perth.
