The owner of OceanGate refused to hire "old white men" because he thought they weren't inspirational. He fired and "old white men" foe telling him the Titan was a death trap.

He didn't listen and decided to go to the bottom of the Atlantic in it, where he and his mates died a horrible death when it imploded.

The "he" you are talking about was a 61 yo white male and was the one making all the decisions. Thanks for providing an accurate example of exactly why old white men making all the decisions is a bad idea.

Farout there are some special people on here, just sit behind your keyboard and type out those conspiracy theories fella.
I will, and i might stop as soon as you get your licence to print money too...
Remember no clubs go into the red no more and you expect me to believe that the bears entity are willing to fore go the ownership of this licence and branding, especially after youve told us how youve almost went bankrupt for the past years of overspending in NSW cup...
do me a favour and tell your so call text connections if they dont pick an area that the arlc want, they aren't solely in control of bidding for( like Melbourne2, or Adelaide) then they are again wasting their time and wont benefit from any of these potential next 3 licences...
Perth would take their branding along with their licence, and switch over to pirates within 2-3 years
Bears will repeat the whole northern eagles debacle again, you must have ownership or leaving the brand in someone elses hands is useless

Look where his decision got him?

The moral of the story is don't discriminate based on immutable characteristics. Hire the best qualified candidates. If all of the best candidates are women then hire them.

Well given we know there’d be plenty of women in Sydney equal to these men’s skill and experience you then have to ask is it:
a) no women of talent want to be on the bears board?
or
b) the bears board don’t want talented women on it?

Why do you assume women are as interested in these jobs as men?

Why aren't you whinging about the lack of men in childcare and teaching?

Why aren't you whinging about the lack of women putting their hand up to work in dangerous industry?

Why is it the only jobs you and the radical left rant about are cushy office jobs that have status?

Why not push for true equality and diversity in all walks of life?

From memory there were two women on the board at different times last year, they both stepped down.
One had a high profile job and had to concentrate more on that role the other stepped down in controversial circumstances which involved Chairman Daniel Dickson and James Bracey.
