See my reply above.

Use Dragons as an example

Sacked the coach, New coach doesn't start until next year

Hunt wants out, several others would of got the tap on the shoulder. As happens when a new coach is coming in

So you have them slightly off.

The opposition full strength at home, pushing for top 4.

So a blow out results, Not sure how you fix it. Injuries, basketcase clubs are always going to be there
Tigers have been bad for 10 yrs straight and show no signs of turning around

Newcastle struggle to compete regularly

titans and dragons have bad cultures

so many poorly run clubs

Just finishing off the bulldogs game, geez it’s worse than my local league for quality of play. It’s not like knights are world beaters either! There’ll always be blow outs, it’s nature of our game. As long as 80% plus of games are competitive then all good.

As much as I dislike the sharks for a club that’s got no money, no fans and a sht stadium they seem to at least stay competitve every year. There’s much better resourced teams in the comp who fair a lot worse.

Hence why you reduce it. You don’t have two months of dead matches.

You still have those dead months though.

If you don't have Origin affected rounds the good teams just pull away.

Dolphins are one side currently struggling with injuries, 2 weeks they play Penrith with 5 guys backing up from Origin - likely rested.

That brings the score closer, If there was no Origin to affect it. Panthers likely flog Dolphins.

Cowboys have gotten into form playing Storm, Souths, Panthers during Origin.

They play them at Full strength and don't win, They too forget about finals and look to 2024. That puts them in the category of sides not putting in

They’ve taken over that southern Sydney area with the juniors

dragons have lost that battle

still hate watching them at home their ground is a rubbish tip

Interestingly they have very few players that were jnrs from their region. I think only 4 or 5 in the 33 man squad last time I looked.they seem to be able to recruit decent players.

The Cowboys have had more players missing or backing up for Origin then any other team.

It's not like they were playing those teams listed with a full strength 17.

Sharks have plenty of money! Probably one of the most cash rich clubs in Sydney.
