Cull?Posters who were doing there nut over the suggestion that Sydney has too many teams, are now openly advocates for the culling of Sydney teams.
You're opposed to everything. You hate the NRL.

One of the biggest juniors bases in nswWest Coast Sharks.
The strange part is, the Sharks win with this move but everyone talks like its thier death.
They go from 1 of the smallest geographical location and populations to the biggest- an entire state.
Sharks fans will still be Sharks fans( let's casual Sharks fans are 150k), it might disappoint the regular attendees ( 10 to 20k) but you'll get new one's .
All the risk for WA is removed .
You already have an active fan base tuning in, juniors, roster.. everything.
The Dragons move permanently to Wollongong- Southern Dragons.
Expansion... Expand!
Sydney does have too many teams, but the time for them to be relocated/culled has passed.Cull?

Please stop trying to merge cull and relocate.. it's not a cull, not close.Sydney does have too many teams, but the time for them to be relocated/culled has passed.
You're suggestion of getting rid of the Sharks is not without merit, it's just never going to happen now the game is flush with cash.
And would continue to be.One of the biggest juniors bases in nsw
It's solves all the issues that a stand alone Perth bid has.One of the biggest juniors bases in nsw
It's a cull, let's be honest. Please stop trying to merge cull and relocate.. it's not a cull, not close.
Yeah I agree, probably not going to happen. We have a lot of hypotheticals on here, that another, a more ideal hypothetical.
Until the NRL puts 100 million on the table. It's a cull, let's be honest.
You're completely alienating an existing fanbase, in favour of another one.
I'm all for it, it just won't happen
When canard is speaking more sense than youUntil the NRL puts 100 million on the table.
70,000 years without a premiership has gotta be some kind of record.Well in modern history it is recorded that the British landed in Kurranulla in 1770.
In there they claimed New Holland as their own.
That's just the European side
I can try and give you an account of the previous 70,000 years but I'm afraid I'd miss something.
Why not just invest $100M in starting from scratch and avoiding all the negative press, protests etcUntil the NRL puts 100 million on the table.
Because we would still have too many Sydney clubs and it will cost more than 100 million from scratch. Why not just invest $100M in starting from scratch and avoiding all the negative press, protests etc
You want the nrl to take 100 million bucks and use it to move a Sydney team to Perth ?Because we would still have too many Sydney clubs and it will cost more than 100 million from scratch.
I’m surprised nobody’s shown any concern of TV dictating what clubs should come into the NRL. They’ve undervalued the game for years, interfered with scheduling and now this.
I can already see how the next TV negotiations go where they lowball us and V’landys asks, “why can’t we get as much as AFL?” To which they respond, “they’re bigger than you as they have a nation-wide footprint whereas you are confined to the east.”
The best case scenario is for the WA Gov to sign a deal with the Wests Tigers to take a few games each year to Perth. Parramatta have a similar deal with the NT Gov.Only a monumental failure or huge amount of money would see a Sydney club relocate at this stage. Even then we’d probably end up with some half-assed effort that still wants to play 4 home games in Sydney and has a board full of old boys who constantly have one eye on moving back to Sydney full time (see Bears).
Media analyst Colin Smith said the NRL should forget about Adelaide and Perth if it wishes to generate more revenue from the broadcasters. He's in favour of Brisbane 3, New Zealand 2, Melbourne 2 and PNG.I’m surprised nobody’s shown any concern of TV dictating what clubs should come into the NRL.
