Origin generates more revenue than any NSWRL club. Without Origin and the introduction of the Broncos and Storm the game would be not much bigger than the A-League.

Yes, a lot of it has to do with them being successful and entering the NRL when SEQ was starved of content. Doesn't change the fact they're successful. I've argued that their popularity in Queensland and NSW will decline when their onfield success comes to a halt. When it does their value to the broadcasters will drop. Until that happens they'll bs one of the more valuable teams.
