Wonder if Hauritz will play or would they take they're chances with North, Katich and Clarke as their spinning options.

If the pitch is going to crack up McDonald should be considered.

If he is not considered here I reckon Lord's would be the only other pitch you'd consider him on.

If he isn't even an option here - why take im on tour?

He can be effective on a pitch that breaks up, keeping it tight and letting the pitch do the work. It's probably the only conditions, other than a red hot seamer, that you'd play him in. But with no pre test game at all he seems to be out of the loop.

Really depends how Clark goes as he basically does the same role but is quicker.

Clark is atleast threatening and will be the one to extract any seam movement out of the wicket. I am looking for a big series from Sarfraz, it's been a while since he was 100% fully fit and he had the poms in all sorts in the last series.

If it looks like raining surely they have to play Hilfenhaus?

Can't wait to see Clark bowl at Lords. With that slope, he'll ask the Poms all sorts of questions, just like McGrath always did.

Raining overnight in Cardiff..no surprise as it always rains in Wales! We will probably go with 4 quicks, Hilfenhaus in.

Can't believe Hauritz was even selected to look at the players kitbags. Most useless over rated hack to even play cricket.

I'd back Richie Benaud to perform better in this test match at his age of 143 than Hauritz ever could in his whole life.

Haurie almost cried during the ODI at Sydney, he couldn't handle the verbal abuse he was receiving down at the Member's Pavilion and being asked if that was a blueberry pie he gave to Albie Morkel almost made him cry

You guys see the Lions game? He was getting it to go horizontal on day 4.

We'll need him if the pitch breaks up.
