Expecting the teams to line up like this:

1 - Warner
2 - Rogers
3 - Smith
4 - Clarke*
5 - Voges
6 - Watson
7 - Haddin+
8 - Johnson
9 - Starc
10 - Lyon
11 - Hazlewood

vs.

1 - Cook*
2 - Lyth
3 - Ballance
4 - Bell
5 - Root
6 - Stokes
7 - Buttler+
8 - Ali
9 - Broad
10 - Wood
11 - Anderson

I think we're superior in almost every position. Only places where they lead is they bat longer - Ali is a genuine batsman coming in at 8, coupled with Buttler's batting (although Hadds is a better gloveman) and maybe Root ahead of Voges. Beyond that our lineup is superior.

That's the teams I'm expecting too.

Shame I'm working an afternoon/evening shift at work and will most likely miss the 1st session.

I'm fired up for this!

I reckon we will take the attack to Moeen Ali when he's bowling.

Hear on the radio that the Marsh brothers look set to miss out so I'd say that Timbo's line ups are probably going to be correct.

What a night of sport tonight! Bring it on!

A bit annoyed that this series is only on GEM and not on Fox.

The place I'm currently living in only has a Foxtel satellite connection - meaning I can't get GEM through Fox - and no roof antennae, and using an indoor antennae isn't getting me any signal :x

Fortunately I move house on Sunday so tests 2-5 should be fine!

Has anyone seen or heard about the pitch yet?

Given the heat of the last week, i'm wondering if it will be a hard deck which would suit Australia more.

Cardiff usually takes turn. Glamorgan have traditionally been a county that's used spin well.

It may well break up on days 4-5. I think our secret spinning weapon (after Lyon of course) could be Voges actually. He's played an awful lot of county cricket and has quite a good first class record.
