Not really. But that wasn't as blatant as the inside edge. For the record I thought it was a highly dubious decision to give David Hussey out, by the same umpire. It seems he likes going up in appeal with the bowling team.

McCullum was one of the 100+ players that will be given out LBW when they hit the ball this year, its Karma for pulling a huge con job on the umpire in the Aussie innings

As for the noise, any umpire who gets to this level should know the difference between a little noise and ball hitting bat
