a) I don't even think he hit it, judging by snicko at the end of last over

b)Sometimes there's nothing much you can do when caught down the leg side. Had the right idea - looked to smash it to the boundary but somehow got the edge and Mcullum took a very good catch. I hate going out caught down the leg side, you just feel ripped off for some reason.
